PATRICIA ANNE KRANTZ

PATRICIA ANNE KRANTZ, 82, passed away October 7, 2017, surrounded by her children.

Patricia was born on March 6, 1935, in Fayetteville, NC, to David and Dollie Derrick.

Patricia and her husband, Fred W.

Krantz, Sr., spent most of their married life in Florida. In 1975, they moved to Lapeer. In 1983, Fred and Pat founded Circle K RV and held ownership until 1995, when they decided it was time to retire. They made their residence in Ormond Beach and split their time between Florida and Michigan, traveling in their motorhome visiting family and friends around the United States until Fred’s passing. Pat loved Michigan during the summer months, visiting her daughter and family and spending special quality time with her great-grandson, Liam and anticipating the birth of her first great-granddaughter, Kadence.

When in Ormond Beach, she enjoyed spending time with her other children and grandchildren along with her very special friends Helen, Doris, Peg, Chris and many other friends playing Bingo or cards at The Falls Clubhouse.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Krantz, Sr.

She is survived by her children, DeeDee (Tim) O’Brien; Fred (Tracey) W. Krantz, Jr.; Cindy (Flem) Whited; her grandchildren, Sabrina Krantz, Sean O’Brien, Michael (Jessica) O’Brien, Kana Whited, IV, Whitney Whited and Gina Cottone; her great-grandchildren, Liam O’Brien and soon to be born Kadence O’Brien; brother, David R. (Betty) Derrick; sister, Sonia (Clyde) Hodges.

A memorial celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later time.
