GARY STOLDT, SR., 71, of Port Huron, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on July

11, 1946, to Vern and

Evelyn Stoldt, in Imlay


He is survived by his fiancée, Sharon Ahrens; daughter, Debra (Terry) Kiyasu; sons, Gary (Karen) Stoldt, Jr., Ryan (Erika) Stoldt; grandchildren, Austin, Chandler, Trinity, Kaiden, Jordan, Sarah (Peter), Justin, Megan, Jenna, Zack, Jeffrey and Lauren; and three great-grandchildren; Sharon’s children, Kyle (Melanie) Ahrens, Kaitlyn (Daniel) Schiesser and Kevin (Kassie) Ahrens; sister, Carol (Dan) Winslow; brother, Thomas (Sharon) Stoldt; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Vern and Evelyn Stoldt.

Gary worked at Ford Motor Company for 15 years and was a self-employed farmer for 15 years, retiring in 2000. Gary loved to be outdoors, boating, fishing and hunting. He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends.

Memorials may be made to donor’s choice of charities.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home – North.
