Sentenced

The following sentences were administered by 40th Circuit Court Judge Nick O. Holowka

• Michael L. Pomeroy Jr., 34, of Yale was sentenced Aug. 27 to between 18 months and seven years, six months in Michigan State Prison after pleading guilty July 27 to third-degree fleeing and eluding and operating under the influence of liquor, third offense. The court also found him guilty of habitual offender, second conviction.

• Shannon M. Linson-Conger, 47, of Lapeer was sentenced Aug. 27 to 90 days in the Lapeer County Jail after pleading guilty July 2 larceny of between $1,000 and $20,000. Linson-Conger was ordered to pay $500 in restitution, repay $625 in attorney’s fees and pay $758 in fines and court costs.

• Hans J. Hausmann, 51, of Almont was sentenced Aug. 27 to 90 days in the Lapeer County Jail, with credit for one day served, after pleading no contest June 25 to assault with a weapon. Hausmann was ordered to pay $1,585 in restitution and $758 in fines and court costs.

• Shannon G. McDonald, 52, of Columbiaville was sentenced Aug. 27 to two concurrent terms of 180 days in the Lapeer County Jail, with credit for four days served on each, after pleading guilty June 28 to two counts of delivery and manufacture of a controlled substance. His license was suspended for 60 days and restricted for an additional 305.

McDonald was ordered to pay $766 in fines and court costs.

• Donald M. Guilds III, 60, of Ortonville, was sentenced Aug. 27 to two concurrent terms of 60 days in the Lapeer County Jail after pleading guilty July 5 to delivery and manufacture of between five and 45 kilograms of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. The court also found him guilty of habitual offender, third conviction. Guilds license was suspended for 60 days and restricted for an additional 305. He was ordered to pay $808 in fines and court costs.

• Joseph M. Gunjak, 27, of Lapeer was sentenced Aug. 27 to two concurrent terms of 180 days in the Lapeer County Jail, with credit for one day served on each, after pleading guilty July 2 to two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material. Gunjak was ordered to repay $399 in attorney’s fees and pay $826 in fines and court costs.

• Shaun W. Flowers, 31 of Lapeer was sentenced Aug. 27 to between 12 and 25 years in prison, with credit for 757 days served, after pleading guilty May 3 to assault with intent to commit murder. Flowers was ordered to pay $758 in fines and court costs, as well as attorney’s fees once they are determined.
