The offensive line played great opening huge holes for the running backs to run through totaling over 300 yards on the ground, said the Jr. Lighting coaches. Seth Gavan led the way with 182 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Talan Sumner rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown and Evan Hornback added a 24 yard touchdown run.

Lapeer’s stout defense held the Wildcats in check all day, giving up zero points. Jackson Blaine led the defensive core with 11 tackles. Jackson Hebberd and Gabe Caldwell both had interceptions to halt the Wildcat passing game.
