Kiwanis cider, doughnut sales benefit local children



Emily Barber and Jessica Walz (inset), members of the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer, sold Past Tense Cider Mill apple cider and doughnuts Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Saginaw and Nepessing streets in downtown Lapeer. The Club’s annual cider and doughnut sales were conducted Thursday and Friday at downtown intersections as well at the exit drive from the Lapeer Post Office.
